Push Snowboarding – Episode 1

This is the first of 5 mini documentaries following professional snowboarder Gary Greenshields as he tests out new technologies to measure what’s happening both physically and mentally during a ride. Directed by D.A.R.Y.L / Pulsefilms London, I created the music/sound design and mixed the final soundtrack.

The podcast series, I produced with the brilliant comedy writer-performer Nathaniel Tapley, has won the Parsec Award for best new Podcaster/Team. Featuring hilarious performances from the likes of Ruth Bratt, Lizzie Roper, Darren Strange, Sally Chattaway, Emma Powell and John Voce.

Nokia’s Latest PUSH projects are all about innovation and creativity. I created the soundtrack for the “Push KAPing” viral directed by D.A.R.Y.L /Pulsefilms London. KAP stands for ‘Kite Aerial Photography’. With PUSH KAPing, the Nokia N8 lets you see what your kite mounted N8 sees and control its every move.

I recently finished working on the soundtrack for “Spinning Streak” – a simple game of skill and balance to run on your iPhone. It’s part of a big campaign for Barclays Bank and ties in with their current press and TV commercials. Digital creative agency WAX produced the game which is based on a storyline where we don’t “just” play but also follow our main character through the various stages of his career.

Launch film for Honda’s first sporty hybrid and a halo car for the brand. I was asked by Gauchoproductions to write and produce the soundtrack for the ninety second promo. It was directed by Ben Hume-Paton and produced by Kwok Yau.
Initially used on the press launch of the CR-Z, it will be used at shows and events across Europe and the middle east.

Ever since our broadcast on Canadian radio our fanbase has been growing hugely, as we now have more than 1600 subscribers, and each podcast is downloaded a couple of thousand times. We’ll be performing live at the World Horror Convention this year, and  will have a show in Arundel Castle later in the year.

A Grave Mistake is Episode 4 of season 1 released March 2010, It’s a great episode with hilarious performances from the likes of Ruth Bratt, Lizzie Roper, Darren Strange, Sally Chattaway, Emma Powell, John Voce and Nathaniel Tapley.

Working on the sound design has been great fun – especially creating the sound of an overloading flux capacitor during a neuro-cortical transfer springs to mind.

BUG: The Evolution Of Music Video is a bi-monthly event at the BFI Southbank in London, celebrating global creativity in music video. I created the soundtrack for the show’s March 2010 opening film using a nasal aspirator (layman’s term “snot sucker”), a balloon, a hair brush, a toy truck & some masking tape. Animation by the wonderful Miland Suman.

I was asked by my friends at the WAX online agency to provide music and the sound fx for Keep it safe, a Facebook game developed for Barclays Bank.

“Keep it Safe is the addictive game of skill that challenges you to unlock the safe. Unlocking the safe earns you points to use in the Keep it Safe shop. From the shop you can send out cool gifts to your friends on Facebook, either as a token of your generosity, or a demonstration of your all-powerful skill and might.”
