Everything with Raoul starts and ends with the story. He is so attuned to the film’s narrative, the character’s feelings, their desires, etc, that every decision he makes is dictated by what’s right for the story. All his choices were appropriate for the world of the film; he is not solely interested in decorative sound design but is concerned by what the audience will feel. Aside from his creative work on the film, he was also able to solve many issues which were created from poor sound recording on set, and his foley work is exceptional and adds a real sense of presence to the characters when required. Working with Raoul was the best collaboration I have experienced with a sound designer and hopefully it will be the start of a long lasting relationship.

Raoul’s talent is intuitive. he didn’t just create a good sound track for my film. he explored the story, experimented and created something original, refreshing, to add meaning to the film through sound. he is a 100% professional and such a joy to work with. i have no hesitation to work with him again and recommend him to anyone. thanks a lot Raoul!

Raoul’s talent is not just in creating a good score and soundtrack. Raoul has a very gifted way of getting the right feel and tone for a film or video very quickly through his many years of experience. He asks the right questions and efficiently makes it happen. Raoul has been the most creative sound designer that I have ever worked with. He was not only a great collaborator on “Leaving Eva” but also brought so many of his own ideas to the film. His sound design was instrumental in creating the post apocalyptic atmosphere that we needed in the film. His fusion of musical and discordant sounds also reinforced the underlying emotions that could have otherwise have been lost in the film. I really look forward to working with him again.’
