Raoul Brand

music & sound design

info

raoul brand, portrait photoWelcome to my website. I am a composer, sound designer, musician and songwriter based in London, UK.
I create bespoke music and sound design for animation, advertising, broadcast, independent films and web. With 12 years of experience scoring to picture my credits include commercials for Honda, Nike, BMW as well as award-winning documentaries for BBC and Channel 4. I have been working remotely from my studio (and sometimes on location) as a freelancer for the last 3 years. I offer the following services: composition, sound design, voice casting & recording, mixing and mastering.

Before I became freelance I worked at o2music, a music production company run by myself and my longterm business and co-writing partner Graham Waugh.

As a songwriter and guitarist I have collaborated for 5 years with singer John Gibbons and have co-written a large number of soulful acoustic songs. Under the name John Gibbons // Folksoulbrother we’ve performed our music at venues such as the Jazz Cafe London, the Royal Albert Hall and supported Mica Paris on her recent UK tour. Our music is published by Salon Mondial.

I have a deep passion for music & sound and value artistry, craftsmanship, diversity and originality.

Thanks to Prisca at eyedea.eu for designing this site.
